Sachin Yamananni, a worker in the Hiranyakeshi sugar factory at Hukkeri in Belagavi district of Karnataka, died in a workplace accident on January 12.
He was caught in the belt of a crusher when he was feeding lime pellets to the crushing machine.
He had joined as a temporary worker 10 days ago.
